The University of Toronto Sustainability Symposium engaged the U of T community and public to advance a vision of a "living lab" for sustainability, exploring how innovative solutions developed and tested on campus can contribute to the broader challenge of urban sustainability.
The evening lecture addressed the role of cities in addressing the multiple interconnected challenges of sustainability. Are cities hubs for innovation and change or are they in need of radical re-envisioning for realizing sustainability?
